On Saturday morning, we got up around 7 and had granola for breakfast. Since we've got to real food, I started making our granola. I'm not sure I could go back to "normal" cereal now.
I had to go train my weekend clients, so we detoured from our day to go do some quick work. Jon had to run an errand while I was training, so he went off to do that. On our way to my client's place, we noticed that I-95 south was a hot mess, so he also figured out a route back to the campground that kept us off 95.
After work was complete, we wound our way back to the campground and took care of some "trailer stuff" that we needed to do and had lunch. We were originally planning on heading back to Prince William Forest National Park to do the 8.1 mile hike as a prep for our 9.8 mile hike in Shenandoah National Park in May, but after seeing the rattle snake, neither of us was feeling it.
Instead, we decided to do something else we've never done (despite living close enough to do it). We headed to the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico.
We spent a better part of the afternoon at the museum. Jon told me later that he only read about 5% of the information that was posted everywhere. I told him that was 5% more than he knew before we went in. Hehe.

A memory wall. They wanted you to write your memories from 9/11 and then hang them on the wall. |

After the museum, we took a walk on a couple of the paths around the museum.

After our walk, we headed back towards the campground. We thought about trying to find a grill after smelling some of our neighbors cooking on their grills (note: remember to pack the camp stove!), but we decided against it. Instead, we started researching camping grills (since the camp stove we have is just that, a stove... not a grill) and decided on the one we wanted. Jon went ahead and ordered it on Amazon and I set about heating up dinner. I made spaghetti with a meat sauce a couple of days before, so it was a nice, simple dinner!
We cleaned up after dinner and then took a walk around the campgrounds.

Lance truck camper. We noticed it had a storage sticker from our storage facility too. We're the only 2 Lance's in our storage area, so it was kind of funny to see them at the same campground! |

The fire circle. No other fire pits in this campground. |

This was one of 2 trailers smaller than us. We laugh that we're the "small ones". |

The sky was so pretty! |
After our walk, we chilled outside for a while. As the sun started to set, we retreated inside, showered, and got ready for bed.
Sunday morning, we took our time getting up & getting ready for the day. After breakfast, we started "tearing down" camp and getting on the road to put the trailer back in storage. Sad morning! The weather was so nice, I could've done another night or so. We had to get going to our niece's birthday party, so a longer trip will have to wait.
